Pat Richards, LCSW, RHt, is the Associate Director of WIIT. With over fifteen years experience in the field, she began working for WIIT in 1995. Pat received her BA from the University of Maine and her MSW from Boston College. She is a Florida Licensed Social Worker. Her prior experience includes directing a women's program in Sarasota, FL, private practice, and working with Hospice. She has presented at national and international conferences and is a regular contributor to Enlightened Choices, including therapeutic poetry from her collection Give Me Your Hand. Pat Richard's expertise and intense commitment to the WIIT program and WIIT's patients is well-known and respected throughout the patient and professional communities.

I found out that Dr. Tollefson and his staff have been studying and treating trauma for about fifteen years now. The WIIT treatment team is made up of specially selected and trained doctoral and masters level Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses and Psychiatric Techs.
