WIIT is psychiatric treatment for women who have acute symptoms associated with psychological trauma, including grief, loss, depression, post traumatic stress, and dissociative disorders. Substance abuse often accompanies psychological trauma. Some of us have learned to use substances as a way to deal with our emotional pain. WIIT promotes a safe environment where women can experience the support and assistance they need to regain their lives. Hollywood Pavilion offers inpatient and intensive outpatient WIIT treatment.
The staff have been treating trauma survivors for more than 10 years. The treatment team is made up of specially selected and trained Doctoral and Masters level licensed clinical social workers, licensed mental health counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, and psychiatric nurses and mental health technicians.
